FAQ

Do you have pasta classes?

Due to our shop capacity, we discontinued pasta classes in June 2025—thank you to everyone who made it out for pasta classes in the past! We loved making pasta with you. <3

Do you still host Tasting Menus?

As of April 2026, we no longer offer public or private Tasting Menus at Tiny Market Co. For more information, please see Erich and Danielle’s letter here.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we have virtual gift cards available for purchase online or via email (should you need a specific amount not provided on the website). Please email info@tinymarketco.com with any questions.

Do you make all your pasta in house?

We do! We have a small, but mighty, pasta team who make all our pasta for weekly specials, retail, and wholesale to various restaurants and clients.

Do you sell shelf-stable pasta?

We sell fresh pasta, not dry pasta. We stock both our fridge and freezer with fresh pasta each week—pasta that is from the freezer should never be thawed. Put it back in the freezer within 20 minutes of purchase, and cook from frozen.

How long are Tiny Market pastas good for?

Our fridge pastas have a “best before” date, but can be frozen before that date expires. Our frozen pastas last in the freezer for a few months (2-3), but we advise to put them in a good spot (avoid the door or back of the fridge) to make sure they don’t get freezer burnt.

What type of flour is used in Tiny Market pastas?

We use 00 Flour from Naples and Durum Wheat Semolina that is refined in Cambridge, Ontario.

Do you have gluten-free pasta?

At this present moment, we do not make gluten-free pasta. If this changes, we will post about it on Instagram

What makes your focaccia so different from traditional focaccia?

Our focaccia is Sourdough Focaccia! This is a naturally vegan bread that uses both yeast and sourdough to get the desired rise. Our focaccia loaves are salty and crispy on the outside, soft and doughy on the inside. We also occasionally sell Sourdough Schiacciata using the same dough. Schiacciata is made crispier and denser, perfect for sandwiches!

Can I preorder retail items?

Yes! Please send us a DM through Instagram or come into the shop to chat about it. We will text or call when your order is ready for pick up. Your order is not confirmed until you hear back from someone at the shop to confirm it.

Can I make a custom order?

At this time, we are not offering custom retail orders as it is beyond our shop's current bandwidth.

How do I place a wholesale order?

Please send a detailed email to our wholesale inbox: wholesale@tinymarketco.com

How often do you rotate your menu?

We offer 1-3 pasta specials that change weekly. Our two sandwiches (Mortadella & Spicy Mortadella) remain the same each week, depending on availability.

How do we find out what the special is for the week?

We post our pasta specials each week on our Instagram account, usually on Thursday mornings before we begin service.

Do you have any vegetarian options?

We try to have at least one vegetarian option per week; however, there is always the possibility that we will sell out of our vegetarian options prior to the end of service.

Do you make accommodations for dietary restrictions?

Strictly speaking, no. Having lunch at the shop is trusting Erich (our head chef and owner) with his weekly menu. That being said, please alert front staff of any allergies or restrictions as they will be able to let you know if we have any options for you and/or if some slight accommodations can be made. We are a peanut-free facility (besides some ingredients that are “may contain”).

Can I dine in?

Yes, although it should be noted that we have very limited seating options (we are tiny, after all!) and seating is entirely first come/first serve. There is no way to reserve a table in advance. We run lunch from 11AM - 2:45PM and dinner from 4PM - 6:45PM Thursday - Sunday. Last call for food at lunchtime is 2:45PM, last call for food in the evening is 6:45PM.

Does Tiny Market Co run dinner service?

Yes! We run dinner service Thursday - Sunday, 4PM - 6:45PM. This service is exactly the same as our lunch service, but with additional menu items (More pasta! Sometimes more sandwiches!). You can takeout or dine-in. Dine-in is limited, first come/first serve, with no reservations. Last call for food is 6:45PM.

Can I make reservations for a table?

We do not take reservations in our shop and there is no waitlist. It’s first come, first serve. You are welcome to wait on the premises for a table, if desired!

Do you have coffee/tea available?

No, but there are a few cute cafes in the area! You’re welcome to bring in outside coffee, should you need.

Can I pay with cash?

We encourage paying with card (and, yes, we take Amex!), when possible. If you’re paying in cash, it’s best if it’s as close to exact change as possible.

Do you do catering?

Unfortunately, we do not offer catering services through Tiny Market Co! We simply do not have the capacity at the present moment.

Are pets allowed in the shop?

No, pets are not allowed into the shop. Of course, exceptions can be made for service animals, etc. Patio season also allows for some flexibility as we have tables outside for customers where you’re welcome to have your pet with you.

Do you have parking?

There is often local street parking outside the shop on Bathurst or in the nearby neighbourhoods/parkades. Please observe all local parking laws as parking authorities are quite active in the area.

How do I apply to work at Tiny Market Co?

We will often post availability for positions with the Tiny Market team on our Instagram stories or on Indeed. However, if you think you would be a good fit (for front of house or back of house), please send a resume and brief intro email to careers@tinymarketco.com

Some Accessibility Info:

There is one two-inch step to get into the shop. Once inside, it is all one level, but it is a tight place that could be difficult to maneuver, depending on how many people are in the space at any given time.

For dine-in, we have four tall stools with backs on them, but all our other seating is small, metal stools with no backs to them.

We have a bathroom for guests, upon request. It is on the same level as the shop (no stairs involved). The doorway to the bathroom is 24 inches wide (an accessible size doorway is 32 inches).
