Tasting Night Details & Menu



HOW TO SECURE A RESERVATION

  1. Join our notification list. Booking calendar is only sent to those on the list. 

  2. An email will be sent out at any given time with any given dates. Private tasting schedule is usually a block of 3 months, where as our public tasting schedule is usually a few dates at a time. 

  3. All booking info will be included on the email you receive.

  4. Anticipate that you may not be able secure a seat... sorry.. :(  We book up extremely quickly (usually within minutes). 

 

WHAT TO GENERALLY EXPECT

Tiny Market Co wants to welcome the community into our kitchen!
A few times a month, we open our storefront after-hours and serve a 7 course tasting menu for 10-14 guests. Once we hit the max number of guests, we will be sold out for the evening. We also host private dinners - info on that is posted below.

The menu will change seasonally, and consist of a bread course, salad, a variety of pasta courses, and tiramisu (see below for full menu). Menu is subject to change on short notice based on ingredient availability.  

We have a very intimate space & definitely promote the idea of eating with community. This is a cozy & casual environment, and we are super casual folks. There is no formal dining service for these events, as we cook & serve everything to you ourselves. We also give personal explanations with each course, describing the story behind the dish, and our intent with the flavours.

Our space is home to us (we do literally spend about 85% of our time here) and we want everyone who comes to our shop to feel at home too. Our main goal is to prepare dishes that are made with intent & love, and provide a comfortable space for you to create happy memories.

PUBLIC TASTING NIGHTS

IMPORTANT TO KNOW PRIOR TO RESERVING

  • Price per person is $125.00. Gratuity is not included in the base price, and is optional (cash or at online check out) but appreciated! 

  • Please aim to arrive around 7:20pm, as we would like to start serving at 7:30pm sharp. Doors close at 7:45pm and we cannot accommodate any groups that arrive after this time. If you are running late or unable to make the reservation, please call us ahead of time. 

  • The dinner tends to last about 3 hours. 

  • Please review the menu below and let us know of ALL allergies or dietary restrictions with at least 7 days notice of menu date - you can reach out regarding dietary restrictions via email to tinymarketco@gmail.com. We cannot accommodate V, DF or GF. 

  • We are BYOB! As we are not a licensed establishment, please come equipped with your drinks of choice. Glassware & bottle opener are provided. We do not charge a corkage fee. Please bring a bag of ice if you need! We can pop it in our freezer for you. 

  • We will not contact you prior to your reservation to remind you. Please review our cancellation/late policy - additional charges may apply.

  • Please note that we do our best to provide each dining group with a private table, however some folks may be sat in our window bar seating, or harvest style at our pasta table with other diners! We seat on backless stools. If you need accommodation, please contact us ahead of time. SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. 

  • If you are looking to reserve more than 5 seats, please opt for a buyout. Public tastings are reserved for smaller group sizes!


PRIVATE TASTING NIGHTS

  • Price per person is $125.00An 18% gratuity will be added to buyout groups. Buyout minimum is 6 guests and maximum is 12 guests. 
  • We begin private tasting menus at 7pm. The dinner tends to last about 3 hours. 
  • We seat buyout groups harvest table style. Note: we seat on backless stools. If you need accommodation, please contact us ahead of time. 
  • If you would like to buy out the space, please join our notification list to receive the booking information & schedule for upcoming dates. If you are looking to reserve a specific date for a special event, include that info on your notif list submission, or shoot us a quick email so we are aware of your booking purpose!
  • We take a 35% deposit via e transfer to secure bookings. The remainder of the cost is settled the night of unless you prefer to pay in full up front via phone or in person. 
  • We are happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions, but are unable to accommodate food preferences. Please contact us prior to reserving to notify us of ALL dietary restrictions. We cannot accommodate V, DF or GF
  • We will not contact you prior to your reservation to remind you. Please review our cancellation/late policy - additional charges may apply.
